Oculus Magazine

Oculus is a quarterly magazine published by the AIA New York chapter, with guidance and support from the Chapter Oculus Committee. It is mailed to all members of AIA New York, AIA New York State, to a number of complimentary subscribers such as libraries and universities, and to paying subscribers. Current circulation is approximately 9,000.

Oculus is an important means of asserting the identity and advocacy of architects in New York, and a vehicle for publicizing the work of the Chapter and the Center for Architecture. Each issue carries an overarching theme, with the spring issue devoted primarily to the AIA New York “Presidential Theme” and the summer issue featuring the winning projects of the annual AIANY Design Awards.
